Seaside Sundays in Rye

Valencia seems like an almost distant (but great) memory now. It’s been 2 months and I need another holiday asap. With two pretty amazing adventures on the horizon we decided to do some England exploring until they come around. And that’s how I discovered Rye. This picturesque seaside town just near Hastings played host to a maritime festival this past weekend and it was just lovely. Think fish and chips on the harbour whilst listening to the ukulele squad (don’t knock them they were great) and eery antique shops stuffed onto little hills. It’s a great little weekend visit – especially when awaiting your next holiday abroad. Also the ice cream is really good.
